At the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, we want veterinarians to find what they love about veterinary medicine again; practicing meaningful medicine, making a real impact, and caring for patients without production pressure.

We’re growing our veterinary team and looking for veterinarians who value collaboration, mentorship, variety, and the freedom to focus on good medicine. The ARL Afford-a-Care Pet Clinics are currently supported by a team of five veterinarians, creating a collaborative environment where doctors can share knowledge, talk through cases, support one another, and continue learning from different experiences and perspectives.

Whether you’re a new graduate looking for hands-on mentorship or an experienced veterinarian ready for a different kind of practice, the ARL offers the opportunity to work across community veterinary care, shelter medicine, surgery, large animal care, and more.
