Practice medicine with people who have your back
At UVCC, experienced veterinarians flourish with steady support and the autonomy to practice excellent medicine. You will work alongside Dr. Travis Gratton, Dr. Amy Guernsey-Youngblood, Dr. Amanda Utt, and Dr. Snyder in a culture built on collaboration, never competition.

Advanced medicine, real backup
Abdominal, orthopedic, and soft-tissue surgery; regenerative medicine with stem cells and PRP; rehabilitation; chiropractic and acupuncture; exotic pet medicine; and dentistry. Dr. Gratton’s orthopedic expertise, surgical lasers, and rehab-trained technicians mean you can manage complex cases confidently.
Development that actually gets funded
When you want to grow, we invest. Recent examples include a twelve-thousand-dollar acupuncture certification for a DVM and multiple rehab certifications for technicians, all paid by the practice.
Time and tools to do it right
Minimum thirty-minute appointments. IDEXX lab systems, digital radiography, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic lasers. You will have the space and equipment to think, teach, and treat.
A team that knows its craft
Licensed technicians with long tenure, including a lead tech who has advanced from assistant with ongoing practice-supported education.
Balance that shows up in policy
Mental health matters here. Time off is treated with care, an employee assistance program is in place, and monthly meetings end on a note of staff appreciation for each other.
