Yearly Award Nominations Sought for 2007

Deadline for nominations: April 25, 2008

Download form to submit nominations for awards to be presented during the 104th KVMA Annual Business Luncheon, June 2, 2008 at Kansas State University's Student Union in Manhattan, Kansas. A 100 words or less written description of service, accomplishments, or contributions for each nominee must accompany this form.

Veterinarian of the Year

Veterinarian chosen based upon his/her outstanding contributions to the profession, to the KVMA, and to the community.

Spouse of the Year

Recipient is selected based upon that individual’s extraordinary contribution to and in support of veterinary medicine.
Distinguished Service
Recipient can be an individual or a group of individuals (organization, company, etc.) who may or may not be veterinarian(s). Selection is based upon recipient’s service to the KVMA and/or organized veterinary medicine.
Pet of the Year
Presented to any animal providing a noteworthy contribution to humanity during 2007. PLEASE NOTE: There will be three pet of the year award recipients chosen, one for each of the following categories: hero, companion, and professional.
Lifetime Service
To recognize and honor those individuals who have significantly contributed to the KVMA, their profession, and their community during their entire professional career. Nominees must be 60 years of age, have been a KVMA member for 20 years, and have made outstanding contributions to the KVMA, their communities, and the veterinary profession.
Sales Representative of the Year
Recipient is selected based upon noteworthy service or contribution to the KVMA or to organized veterinary medicine.
KSU Distinguished Service
Recipient is a faculty person at the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Selection is based on the recognition of the recipient’s outstanding clinical/diagnostic service provided to the KVMA membership.
